MUD EVERYWHERE!


Since we have had rain Sunday, Monday & Tuesday, our yard has gotten pretty muddy.  We have gotten A LOT done despite the weather conditions though.  Since my last post, we have finished framing the walls around the whole basement and put up all of the sheathing around the whole house.  There is a lot that goes into putting walls up that I've learned and making sure everything is square and level is top of the list.  Looking good!

BIG SHOUT OUT to our friend, neighbor, and architect!!!  Matt has been a huge help already bringing his expertise in many areas of our house project so far.  We truly appreciate all his help!  

These two pictures show the new portion and our current house. Gives you an idea of how wide our new look is going to be.

The last big push of the day was to bring about 20 I Joist from our yard down into the basement so we could start with the next steps... The floor!
