Over the holidays I had some extra time so I decided to replicate the bed with a few minor changes. The changes are mainly the bed is a bit higher to allow for a Phase II of the bed project to add drawers on each side. It may not happen, but cutting the legs shorter is a lot easier than growing them longer again. Here is the pictures of the bed I built below:

Hey, Brandon! Do you think you have enough slats? The bed looks alot like the one from C & B! Good job!
The slats were not finished in the picture but a couple more were added and the perpendicular support was put down the center with two legs under that support. It works.
