Hydronic Heat

Hydronic Heat

This is Brandon's "special project" as he calls it.  A lot of time and research has gone into the planning, mapping out, and finally build of this project.  As you can see the hydronic heat (radiant floor heat)  has 3 pumps which will control the three zones we have created for our house.  Second floor, Basement, and the other side of the house which isn't built yet.  With three zones and having hydronic heat we are able to control the heat independently in each zone.  Getting even more specific we are able to control the loops (red tubing that was shown in previous posts)  in each of these zones to be warmer or cooler than other loops. Loops being each room of the house basically.   The goal is to have an efficient running house and with this type of heat, and insulation we should be running efficiently in the end.

On the left is the whole hydronic system, including where the system is controlled.  On the right is where the second floor heat will be controlled.

Just showing again how the red tubing is spread and strategically looped and spaced to provide the most efficient amount of heat.  (This is prior to having concrete floor poured, but just wanted to show it again)
