Concrete Day!
Here we go again!
Last Friday (2/16) we had our concrete crew here at 7:30am,
& two trucks ready and waiting to get started by 8am.
As usual, Brandon is always thinking and pretty inventive to get the job done. As you can see here we have a heater that Brandon has hung from the ceiling so that we can ensure the basement doesn't get too cold. Although concrete does create heat when it's curing, it's not enough with these freezing temps we have. We did get pretty lucky though with the temps when we poured last week, as it was a bit warmer this weekend, and then with Mon/Tues being in the 50-60 degree range we were lucky with the decision to pour when we did.
